Bellissimo Medical does not accept insurance or Medicare/Medicaid. In general, insurance companies are not focused on any preventive, wellness or health optimization services. They are invested in the conventional model of health care that often relies on drugs and surgery. Functional Medicine addresses the underlying causes of your symptoms with specific nutritional and lifestyle recommendations, integrating both traditional medical practices with what are called “alternative” practices. Functional Medicine practitioners establish a closer relationship with their patients, spending time to listen to them and evaluating all genetic, internal and external factors that can influence long term health and complex disease. Patients receive individualized care, based on their unique needs, promoting health as a positive vitality, beyond just the absence of disease.
You may wish to consider using various programs designed to give individuals tax advantages to offset health care costs. Examples include Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA). For more information on eligibility requirements and benefits of these plans, please refer to your medical insurance provider and/or to your tax advisor.
Payment is due in full at the time of service. We accept cash, debit cards and all major credit cards. We also provide financing through CareCredit and through our Bellissimo Payment Plan, with membership privileges. Please contact us for detailed information on the BPP.
To ensure the optimization of your treatment, specialized Functional Medicine tests are required periodically as per the physician’s request. Such tests are not covered by insurance nor do we file claims on patient’s behalf. Blood test fees range from $150 to $250. We can furnish you with a coded, paid invoice in case you would like to submit for possible insurance reimbursement; please request yours at time of payment.
We respectfully ask that you arrive at the office 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to check-in and complete necessary paperwork.
PRODUCT RETURN POLICY
We accept any unopened and unused retail product return for complete refund within fourteen (14) days of purchase with receipt. Opened items and/or under unsellable conditions will not be refunded. Prescriptions are non-refundable and non-returnable.
